How well you sleep can affect your mental and physical well-being and how productive you will be the next day. The following are some useful tips to help you sleep better.

Get enough sleep – Every adult needs about 7.5 to 8.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Maintain a regular sleep schedule – Regulate your biological clock by going to bed and waking up the same time everyday, including weekends.
Develop a regular Bedtime routine – Doing the same things like taking a warm shower, reading a book or listening to soothing music every night before bedtime can signal your body to settle down for the night.
Create a sleep-conducive environment – Dimming the lights before bedtime and sleeping in dark and quiet environment can help the body rest better.
Avoid stimulants 2 – 3 hrs before bedtime – Consuming stimulants such as alcohol, caffein and nicotine before bedtime can delay and affect your sleep.
Exercise regularly – Exercise can help relieve daily tension and stress. However, it is best to complete your workout 2 – 3 hrs before bedtime.
